We set off to Quy Nhon shortly after 8.30am and after a few, unexpected hills, we were off the bikes for an early lunch. And by early, I mean 10.00am. Back on the road again and we experienced some light showers throughout the day which gave us an excuse to stop for some refreshments.

(We found a little cafe serving ice-cream and some unknown drinks. They were fruity and artificial to the max)
We arrived in Quy Nhon mid afternoon. It's a large town with a port and an airport. We wound our way around the coastline with a couple of hill climbs thrown in for good measure, until we found the Avani Resort, our rest stop for the next two nights. After 98km, we were pretty dirty from all the dust and mud but we were given a warm welcome and were shown to our room which has a beautiful view of the ocean.

As I sit here writing this, the waves are crashing like thunder outside on the shore. What a great soundtrack for a good sleep. Tomorrow we plan to take it very easy and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
