Finding our favourites in Tokyo - Days 3 & 4

Friday, 18 December 2015

We've spent the past two days exploring some of the lesser known neighbourhoods of Tokyo, with our trusty guide book leading the way. These areas included Daikanyama where we saw one of the latest developments by one of Japan's great modernist architects, and Sendagaya where influential designers have set up a base.

One of the highlights of the past two days was our first sighting of Mount Fuji from our breakfast table. The mountain has a reputation for being somewhat evasive so we count ourselves very lucky to have caught such a clear sight!

Rather than give you a day-by-day break down of the last two days, we've compiled some of our highlights.

Tomorrow we say farewell to Tokyo for a while as we head south to the Hakone National Park where we will be seeking a soak in a hot spring. Sayonara!
